Performing Arts Camp 2007!

We’ll be Rockin’ the Arts 4 days per week, and Rollin’ around the Bay on fun-filled field trips, one day per week.  Weekly performances and an end-of-camp concert and picnic! Bag lunch required.

Activities will include: steel pans, drumming, marimba, dance, band, arts and crafts, spoken word, and theater, outdoor excursions, field trips and performances!

Hip Hop Musical Theat

tudents will explore the fundamentals of theater by creating a Hip Hop version of
William Shakespeare's
"Romeo & Juliet"

Option 2
Diaspora Instrumental Ensemble
S
tudents will explore the fundamentals of
musical ensemble performance by collaboration across musical cultures, bringing steel pans, violins, drums, marimbas, and horns together in this ensemble that promises to be lots of FUN!
